Our Misson

Provide a framework for Zambian Cotton Companies, to self-regulate their activities, to establish, promote and manage sustainable integrated Seed Cotton Pre-Financing, production and purchasing practices.

Powers of the association

To represent the interests of the members in various national and international fora which ordinarily will be part of the terms of reference of the Executive Secretary.

To collect information and data on the seed cotton Pre financing ,production and purchasing and other related areas of importance, best practice and development which ordinarily will be part of the terms of reference of the Executive Secretary

To promote membership of the Association through other organization which ordinarily will be part of the terms of reference of the Executive Secretary

To communicate ,exchange information or become associated with any organization in any country, the aims of which are not inconsistent with the objectives of the Association

To acquire by purchase, donation, lease or bequest any movable or immovable property in accordance with the laws and regulations governing property in the Republic of Zambia

To sell, donate, mortgage, exchange, or partition, lease or dispose of by any mode of alienation, any of its movable or immovable property.

To borrow or raise whether secured or unsecured either with bankers, Members or other Persons and, if necessary give security thereof in any form whatsoever and in respect to the whole or any portion of the assets of the Association.

To make and from time to time to alter or vary the rules and guidelines regulating the affairs of the Association.

To do all such lawful things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objectives of the Association or as may appear to be in the interests of the members.

Admission of Members

Pre-Financiers and Ginners who are founders of the Association and who unconditionally accept the terms and conditions of the association's constitution shall automatically become members.

Admission of further Members shall be on application to the secretariat of the Association in writing and upon acceptance by the Association or by written agreement of all Members.
